I've always struggled with titles. There’s something deceitful – and even a bit arrogant – about them. How can a mere three to five words even attempt to capture the essence of a story—its foundations, intricate structures, deep emotions, and painstakingly crafted twists?

I’ve walked through life with books tucked under my arm, yet every time I had to name a piece of writing, I felt the weight of the challenge. College essays, academic papers, short stories, articles… Moments of agonizing doubt in search of the perfect, compelling synthesis.

Thankfully, writing manuals and creative writing mentors agree crafting a title is no easy task.

So when I set out to write my first fiction book, I knew one thing for certain: the title would come to me when the time was right.

And that moment has arrived. After countless pages, doubts, and twists, I’m thrilled to finally announce that my book project now has a name.

Miguel’s story will be called Between Enchantments and Curses.

And I promise you—this title is no coincidence. Stay tuned: the magic is just beginning.
